... the fire glows brightly in the castle ruins where around two dozen boys and girls are assembled. They have planned something important for this New Year's Eve. Once the explosions from the rockets have subsided and most people have gone to bed, then it is time! That was January 1, 2006. The honorary head of the group says: “ ...this morning we have founded the Balduinstein Wandervogel” Since the day we founded our group we have traversed many paths with our companions and many of them we have lost along the rocky road. But some of them are still here to this day and continue to pursue their dream of an independent group, seizing the day and not wasting time with bureaucracy or financial problems, but free and autonomous. In agreement with our friends who did not want to have the new group confused with the Balduinstein Castle project, which is open for groups from around the German Youth Movement (Wandervogel, Scouts, and others), it was unanimously agreed to call the group the “Autonomous Wandervogel”. From that moment on we have strived to build our group, go on adventurous travels, win friends and to let our songs ring out in the world. Who gave you the science
